Open Mic Night

We went to open mic night at Steel City Cafe last night. Colby's camera takes video, so the two of us got video during the night and then made this video quickly when we got back. I was going to put a song behind it, but I kind of like the sound from the clips. Chris and Brandon played their original songs and then Tyler played after them. The audio from their songs could be better...there's always next time.

I love the atmosphere in this place. And the chai is amazing!

Flyinggg

There is something about skiing and snowboarding that is addicting. I think it's the way I feel frictionless, like I'm actually flying. I love the slow wait on the chair lift, looking down on the people on the mountain. And then at the top you can see out over the valley, and then as soon as you turn your tip down the mountain, you get tunnel vision and all you can do is stare straight ahead. It like my mind turns off and my body turns on.

It was all fake snow, so the trails were really icy with a thin layer of fake powder on top. But we still had fun. It felt good to get back on the trails I am so familiar with.

I also realized that I am more out of shape right now than I have been since I was like four years old.

I just got out of a car that I was in for eight and a half hours. That is a very long time to be in a car DEAR GOD! We drove all the way to pennsylvania.

Even though I think light writing is super cliche and annoying, I had nothing but my camera in my lap, so I turned on my long exposure and went crayzay with the break lights and signs. It rained the whole way here which was super duper stressful, and we had a few close calls but we made it in the end and I got lots of light pictures along the way.

Happy Boxing Day!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Charlotte and I painted our fingers red and green! Niki had festive fingers too so we took a picture. We just walked around a bit to get some last minute presents, Charlotte and I wore santa hats which weren't quite warm enough for the freezing cold. I have amazing friends.

Maddy and I went to pick Ren up from Umass, and we got a tour of his dorm. On the way back, we stopped by a bass shop so he could get his bass fixed. The guy who worked at the shop was German, and super creepy! But the shop was beautiful, I could have stayed there and taken pictures all day. Ren is trying to get an apprenticeship there for the summer which would be pretty awesome.

I love my best friend! She is beautiful and amzing. My camera died. shooooot!! I took pictures of a bass shop with my brother todayy I'll put them up tomorrow I'm excited

Gingerbread House

We made a gingerbread house tonight, making us officially hard core. We watched elf on the computer, and lazily constructed a shitty little g-bread house out of sort of edible pieces which we ate anyway. That's how we do christmas. I love my friends. I'm too tired to write anymrore
