I have always loved christmas lights, they give me such a special feeling. But there is something even more beautiful about them at night, especially in cities. Since Boston is already old and enchanting, the christmas lights just make the nights exponentially more magical. The lights make me feel warm and happy, even when its freezing out. I walked down Charles street and down to the commons to get some pictures, and I froze my fingers numb. But it was totally worth it because I got pretty pictures.

I love the first picture!! The rest of them are amazing too. Can't wait to see you- keep this up! Indiana is freezing right now, I can't even image how cold it is in Boston. Keep your fingers warm!!
ReplyDeleteHey, girl! Love these photos! I especially dig 2, 6, and 9. Sounds like Boston is cold! Almost hit 50 here, today! Great running weather.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now for the poem prompt:
Write on a game/past time/activity you played in childhood. Remember, like with papers, ground ideas in literal details: sights, sounds, smells, tastes. I'm going to either write on unicycling or the doll hospital I managed from ages 7-10.
Write in either free verse (no set form) or write in the set form of abecedarian http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/5767
ok cool im pumped I know what Im writing about. How long should it be? Please dont say "however long it needs to be"
ReplyDeleteLol before I read that I was going to say..."make it as long as it needs to be."
ReplyDeleteBut...ok ok. Well, if you do the abecedarian, then it's 26 lines. See link: http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/5767
Otherwise, how about three stanzas--five lines each. Say only what *needs* to be said.
im on it! yaaay
