Boston was clear and beautiful today. We went down to the Aquarium to see the seals that chill outside the building year round. There are four seals hanging out in the tank. Two of them were doing laps back and forth, when they got to the end where we were standing, the would look at us and then flip around and go the other way. They float upside-down with there mouths open, its fucking adorable. They look like fat bullets. The other two were just sitting up at the top where the rocks are, mostly submerged in water. It looked like so much fun to just chill and float in the water, but I would probably get bored after a minute of that nonsense. I love seeing animals like that, just chillin, its so simple. It reminds me how complicated humans are, it seems so unnecessary after watching the seals.
Peter brought his green notebook because he had to go look at tents, and he was too lazy to carry it so he put it in the butt of his pants. Obviously I took pictures. The fool.

I love the Aquarium! And I love you! HOME TOMORROW!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how you call the seals "fat bullets." Have you been to LP zoo or Brookfield since being in Chicago? Brookfield has such an AMAZING primate exhibit.
